Bolivian Rosewood & Yellowheart Checkerboard Earrings

The checkerboard is made up of yellowheart wood (associated with creativity and optimism) which is a vivid golden yellow which mellows to a warmer amber with age, and contrasting we have thuya burl which is a deep red that gives a luxurious, marbled look. These are a small rectangle design that measure nearly 1 inch across and with the fitting drop 2 and a half inch. They are very light at only 4 grams each as the wood has been kiln dried, so can be worn all day with ease. To finish the earrings Sterling silver shepherd hooks compliment.
